Sant Darshan Museum (Hadashi)

We had heard a lot about this place and wanted to visit it. It is located near Pawna Dam and about 50kms from Pune. The roads are good. At the center there is a museum, entertainment park, a temple, eating restaurant. It will be a half day outing for the family with the kids. The museum is beatuifully made out with sculptures of local saints and depicting them in almost life form. A tunnel from entrance takes one through to the entire museum and one gets out at the exist in long winding path. The tunnel is well lighted and ventilated. It takes about an hour to enjoy the journey. Besides museum there is a temple of Vithal/Rukmini adjacent to it. Entry ticket is Rs.200/- for an adult. There is ample parking though without a shade. They need to provide good washrooms for the public.
