In her physical appearance, Maa Siddhidatri sits on a lotus flower and rides on a lion. She has four arms. In her right upper hand, she holds chakra and in her right lower hand, a mace (gada).



The ninth day of Navratri is the last day of Navratri Puja. This day is dedicated to Maa Siddhidatri who is the ninth incarnation of goddess Durga. Each day of Navratri is substantial for devotees, but the ninth day has special significance because this is the final day to conclude Navratri pooja. This day is also called Maha Navami.



As a four-armed deity, Mata Siddhidatri is a goddess who holds a discus, conch shell, mace, and lotus flower. She either rides on a lion or sits on a fully blossomed lotus. Her divine powers are Anima, Mahima, Garima, Laghima, Prapti, Prakambya, Ishitva, andVashitva. Each of the forms holds a specific meaning.



Siddhidhatri is the ninth and final among the Navadurga (nine forms) aspects of the Hindu mother goddess Mahadevi. The meaning of her name is as follows: Siddhi means supernatural power or meditative ability, and Dhatri means giver or awarder.



Goddess Siddhidatri, who is worshipped on the final day of Navratri, is the form of Ardhnarishwar, as she appeared on Lord Shiva’s left half.
