I mean, look at that picture above! It just doesn’t look real. But it is and that’s what makes me salivate every time I think of these beautiful islands located off the east coast of Africa. How To Travel The Best Of Seychelles On A Budget

1.9K shares • • • • • Seychelles, also known as “The Paradise Isles,” have been some of the most beautiful islands I’ve been to so far. Composed of one hundred fifteen coral and granite islands rising from the Indian Ocean, this pristine hideaway is the perfect place to enjoy unspoiled nature, palm-fringed jungles, white-sand beaches, majestic granite cliffs, and astonishing azure waters. And best of all is that wherever you go in the country, it’s easy to escape the crowds and feel like you’re on an exclusive getaway. It is widely known that Seychelles caters to luxury travelers and honeymooners who usually spend $500+ a night just for their accommodation. The islands do cast that aura of exclusivity, but know that you can enjoy that same exclusive environment for much, much less – even with a backpacker’s budget if you plan it carefully. Getting To Seychelles Since Seychelles are a bunch of tiny islands in the middle of the Indian Ocean (roughly 1000 miles east off the Kenyan coast), the only way you can get there is by flying. Typically, this means expensive flights. But, it is possible to get decently priced flights if you search them well. At the moment, if you’re flying from Europe, Asia, or the Americas, the cheapest options (usually) are If you’re flying from the southern part of Africa, then airlines like My recommendation is to go to Break your flights by searching for a roundtrip flight from your departure city to a major layover city (in this case, Abu Dhabi, O...

How to Visit the Seychelles on a Budget (Updated 2023)

Last Updated: 2/2/2020 | February 2nd, 2020 In this guest post, If you want to drop serious money on a holiday, the Seychelles definitely have plenty of places perfect for an eye-wateringly expensive trip, with high-end rooms at the Madame Zabre Spa Resort on Desroches Island going for almost $15,000 USD per night, as well as a plethora of rooms available in the $500-$1,000-per-night range. There are even whole islands commandeered by one resort, such as Cerf Island, which consists solely of the 24 villas that make up the aptly named But even though fancy resorts like that were way out of my budget, I was determined to visit these islands — and do so frugally, with a backpacker’s budget in mind. After spotting an obscenely cheap and convenient flight deal — and desperate to get out there and explore these beautiful islands — I booked round-trip flights from I typically travel in After securing some affordable accommodation, I braced myself for a painfully expensive trip — but in the end, to my surprise, it was so much easier to be budget-conscious than I imagined. Were the Seychelles the cheapest destination? No. But, I learned, they don’t have to be prohibitively expensive either. So, how do you save money in the Seychelles? Here’s how you can take an affordable trip to paradise: 1. Find cheap flights (they do exist!) We found round-trip flights from London with British Airways for just over $600, a deal so good that it sparked the whole trip. I always use • Look at deal ...

One of the most popular honeymoon and couple destinations, this place is not much popular among solo travellers and backpackers as it is often seen as a ‘tad’ bit expensive. This means that whenever you take a bus, you need to pay just 7 Rupees, regardless of the stop. You can find the bus schedules, routes and timetables for For Praslin, there are only two bus routes whose schedule can be found at your hotel/homestay.
