What is Ethyl Chloride and how is it used? Ethyl Chloride is a prescription medicine used to treat the symptoms of Nasal Bacterial Decolonization. Ethyl Chloridemay cause serious side effects including: • hives, • difficulty breathing, • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, and • red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin with or without fever, • wheezing, • tightness in the chest or throat, • unusual hoarseness, • dark urine, • feeling tired, • loss of appetite, • upset stomach, • stomach pain, • clay-colored stools, • vomiting, • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), • change in the amount of urine, • blood in the urine, • weight gain, and • bad skin irritation where the drug is applied Get medical help right away, if you have any of the symptoms listed above.
