Shipping Label: How to Create, Print & Manage

A shipping label contains the information a carrier needs to get your package from its origin to its destination. It includes a scannable barcode with a tracking number that enables the carrier to provide delivery updates. Shipping labels are different from mailing labels, which include only the recipient’s name and address. Each shipment requires a unique shipping label. And certain types of shipments, such as unboxed items or perishables, need a If you have a shipping label in your email, ask a team member for the retail store’s email address. Tracking

A tracking number or ID is a combination of numbers and possibly letters that uniquely identifies your shipment for national or international tracking. Usually, the shipper or online shop is able to provide the tracking number or ID. If you have ordered a product in an online shop, the confirmation email or shipment tracking notification often contains the tracking number or ID. If not, please contact your shipper or online shop. For examples of the tracking numbers used on DHL shipments, please click here. • Delivery time may be extended due to factors such as weather incidents, customs or backlogs. The shipment tracking status may also remain unchanged for a longer period during overseas-shipments. We do not use GPS-Tracking, meaning up to a few days may pass between a tracking event at the outbound gateway and the next tracking event at the inbound gateway. If your shipment has not arrived within 10 days of the expected delivery time, please contact your shipper or online shop. The shipper or online shop can start an investigation for lost items. •
