He bettered his predecessor Naidu's 2017 performance by 2%, who had secured 346 votes was the highest in the last six vice-presidential polls since 1997. Jagdeep Dhankhar was born on 18th May 1951 in Kithana village in Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu district. After completing his primary schooling from Jhunjhnu he joined Sainik School, Chittorgarh on a full merit scholarship. He did his graduation in Physics and thereafter completed his LLB degree.
