Nagpur: Lalita Tawle, an award-winning female employee working in the MM department of Yantra India Limited, formerly known as Ordnance Factory Ambajhari, passed away on Saturday morning in a private hospital due to a brain stroke. Her three daughters made the selfless decision to donate her organs — two kidneys and a liver — in order to give a new lease of life to three individuals. According to information shared by the Zonal Transplant Coordination Centre (ZTCC) Nagpur, Tawle, 57, got the job at the Ordnance Factory on compensation basis after the death of her husband, Siddharth Tawale, a few years ago.
