After playing with microchip some yrs ago, now its got too expensive. Decided to find out about Arduino. Received UNO R3 earlier than expected from Italy. Downloaded IDE 2.0.4 for Mac and its really so easy. Ive tried some of tutorials and like it. Have got to learn many of the software instructions before i think of some project to try. I,m 78 and have to keep the grey matter working. Helps that i was electrical/electronic engineer but programming is new to me. Very pleased with my purchase and at reasonable price. Kevin Delivery was horrible. Parcel was delivered to a shop that closes at 5pm. Problem being, that i arrive in my home town around 4:55 to 5:15pm, depending on traffic. i tried to pick it up every day until yesterday. only day i arrived on time the store was closed tue to "health-related reasons". maybe chose a dhl postbox or a store with longer opening-times next time.
