‘Creativity is making decorative items out of discarded waste’ During this pandemic, awareness is rising, about importance of recycling. Best out of waste is a craft which follows this environmentally friendly principle and at the same time creates useful and picturesque objects out of waste products. In order to make children aware of uses of waste material, and to give them a lesson on reducing waste to save our future, Lawrence High School ICSE organized a virtual ‘ Best out of waste’ Competition for the students of Grade 3 on 9 th of July 2021. Little hands and imaginative minds came together in a creative burst of energy. They made very creative and innovative models and art items from different waste materials. They used reusable and recyclable materials like newspapers, shoeboxes, bottles, coconut shells, paper glasses and much more. From these items, they created an amazing array of display items, leaving everyone totally impressed. Preservation, recycling, conservation, reduce and reuse etc., are imbibed into young hearts and minds by demonstrating this care for our environment. Lawrence High School is set up by the Cauvery Education Trust. Affiliated with the ICSE board, Lawrence offers you world-class education from kindergarten to grade 10. BEST OUT OF WASTE is a craft in which useful and picturesque objects are made out of waste products. In order to make children aware of uses of waste material, and to give them a lesson on reducing waste to save our future, a ‘Best out of waste’ competition was organized for class 5 on 22nd of February 2022 in the school hall from 10:30am to 1:30pm. Mrs. Pratibha Gonsalves and Mrs. Rena Tuscano were the teachers incharge for the competition. It was amazing to see the students transforming scrap material into useful and beautiful articles. Description :The students of Class ll participated in 'Best Out Of Waste' Competition held on 29th May, 21. The objective of the competition was to create love for environment by making best out of waste with help of recyclable things. Best out of waste is one such craft which follows environmental friendly principle and at the same time creates useful objects out of waste products. Students used their imagination and creativity to make innovative things. Students used bangles, plastic bottles, CD etc. All the things which are waste in our day to day life were used in constructive manner and variety of things were made from them. The activity displayed creativity of the little ones and developed sense of love for environment. Students organize their thought to create such beautiful items.
