Former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni on Wednesday revealed the first look of his graphic novel titled Atharva: The Origin. It is based on writer Ramesh Thamilmani’s work. Touted to be mythological sci-fi web-series, it is backed by Dhoni Entertainment. In the first look clip, we see Dhoni in an animated avatar on a battlefield with his character fighting against a demon-like army. Dhoni, who retired from international cricket in 2019, seems to be exploring newer avenues, and Atharva happens to be one among that.

We had earlier reported that cricketing legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni’s film production banner Dhoni Entertainment is foraying into Tamil cinema with Let’s Get Married, a film starring Harish Kalyan, Ivana, Nadiya Moidu, and Yogi Babu. A The 50-second teaser shows the hero (Harish), along with his friend (RJ Vijay) and a police officer (VTV Ganesh), lose their minds over an idea suggested by the hero’s girlfriend (Ivana). Nadiya plays Harish’s mother in the film, while ace filmmaker Let’s Get Married is a family entertainer conceptualised by Sakshi and written and directed by Ramesh Thamilmani (author of the new age graphic novel Atharva - The Origin). The film has cinematography by Viswajith Odukkathil ( Hridayam fame) and editing by Pradeep E Ragav ( Love Today). Director Ramesh also composes the music for the film. Notably, besides Tamil, Dhoni Entertainment is reportedly in talks with multiple filmmakers and scriptwriters to create and produce exciting and meaningful content across genres including science fiction, crime drama, comedy, suspense thriller, and more.

The first poster of the Tamil film, Let’s Get Married (LGM) which will be released under the banner of MS Dhoni’s film company Dhoni Entertainment, has been released. It will be the first movie under Dhoni’s production house. Dhoni Entertainment (DEPL), a production house promoted by cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni, has forayed into mainstream film production by announcing its first feature film production in Tamil. Founded in 2019, the entertainment company said it has commenced the various stages of producing entertainment content across mainstream languages. Dhoni Entertainment will be producing its first film in Tamil, a family entertainer conceptualised by Sakshi Singh Dhoni, the Managing Director of the production house, a release here said. It will be directed by Ramesh Thamilmani, who has also authored "Atharva - The Origin," a new age graphic novel. The cast and crew of the film will be announced shortly.
