About JEE(Main) 2023

The Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs ( B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. JEE (Main) is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the country. The JEE (Main) – 2023 will be conducted in 02 ( two) sessions for admissions in the next academic session. The candidates will thus benefit in the following ways: • This will give two opportunities to the candidates to improve their scores in the examination if they are not able to give their best in one attempt. • In the first attempt, the students will get a first-hand experience of taking an examination and will know their mistakes which they can improve while attempting for the second time. • This will reduce the chances of dropping a year and droppers would not have to waste an entire year. • If anyone missed the examination due to reasons beyond control (such as the Board examination), then he/she will not have to wait for one entire year. • A candidate need not appear in both Sessions. However, if a candidate appears in more than one Session then his/her best of the JEE (Main) – 2023 NTA Scores will be considered for preparation of the Merit List/ Ranking. 1. JEE (Main) – 2023 Ses...

The Notice to Appear and the Start of Legal Proceedings in Immigration Court

The Notice to Appear (NTA) is the official document that starts removal proceedings against a foreign national. It will require them to appear in immigration court for the initial Master Calendar hearing. You may receive an NTA by mail or in person, or it may be sent to your attorney. A foreign national will be allowed at least 10 days between receiving the NTA and going to their first court hearing, although you can waive this requirement. (Many foreign nationals waive the requirement if they are being held in a detention facility and cannot arrange for release on bond.) Before you go to the hearing, you should review the NTA to make sure that you understand it and are prepared to correct any mistakes on it. For example, if your name or address is incorrect, you should correct the error so that you can receive mail regarding your case. Information on the Proceedings and Allegations The immigration official who completed the NTA will have checked one of three boxes. These will state that you are an arriving alien, you are an alien present in the U.S. who has not been admitted or paroled, or you have been admitted to the U.S. but are removable. An arriving alien is someone who was stopped by immigration authorities at an entry point into the U.S. and has not yet been admitted. The second box applies mostly to undocumented immigrants, who entered without inspection. The last box applies to someone who previously held lawful status in the U.S. but may no longer hold that stat...
