It is considered as the most authentic Islamic book after the Holy Quran. All of its narrations are authentic. It is famous for the linking of ahadeeth to chapters. Saheeh Muslim is authored by Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj an-Naysaboori. It is considered as the most authentic Hadith collection after Sahih al Bukhari. The wordings of the book is preffered to Bukhari Sharif and narrations on one topic can all be found in the same place. Sunan Abi Dawud is one of the Kitab al Sittah (6 authentic collection of Ahadith) authored by Abu Dawud Sulayman ibn al- Ash'ath as-Sijistani. It is known for containing ahadeeth used as evidence for points of Islamic jurisprudense. Jaami' at Timizi is a Hadith collection by Abu 'Eesa Muhammad ibn 'Eesa at Tirmidhi. It is known for author's description (commentary) after each Hadees which clearly highlights the benefits and juristic opinions within. Sunan Ibn Maajah is authored by Muhammad ibn Yazeed al-Qazweeni. It contains some Saheeh ahaadeeth not found in other collections. It also contains highest weak narrations among the Sahi Sittah.

Between Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, there are around 2000 Hadith which are common in both the collection and any hadith found in both the books is considered to be Saheehayn. Imam Muslim was born in Naysabur (Nishapur, that is present day Iran) in Hijri 206. But He was attributed to the Kushayri Arab Tribe.
