'Besharam Rang', the song from Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film 'Pathaan', has generated a lot of interest ever since it's release. While a large section of people have praised the song and the fabulous chemistry between the lead actors- Shah Rukh and Deepika Padukone- some are demanding that the song and film be boycotted. Immediately after the song's release, hashtag Boycott Bollywood started trending on Twitter. Some users started slamming Deepika's costumes and sensual moves in the song, while a couple of others stated that the song was vulgar and does not reflect Indian culture. Responding to the film promos, State Home Minister Narottam Mishra on Wednesday termed the costumes and scenes in the film 'obscene and condemnable'. It should be corrected, or the state government will be forced to take a decision the screening of the film. Objection has been raised over Deepika Padukone's saffron costume in a song titled 'besharam rang'. Released on Tuesday, the song is trending on social media. Reacting on the controversy, state home minister Narottam Mishra said, "Actress Deepika Padukone's costume is highly objectionable and the song has been shot with a dirty mindset. Especially the love for the song Besharam Rang continues. A video that has gone viral on social media shows a toddler copying Deepika Padukone’s steps from the song Besharam Rang. The video was shared on Instagram account called Patodi's Ayronic Life. The video has over 4 lakh views. In the now-viral video, you can see a little girl watching the music video of Besharam Rang on TV. She tries to imitate Deepika Padukone’s steps from the video.
