Traditional medical practitioner Narayana Murthy popularly known as a cancer healer died of cardiac arrest in his home at Narasipura in Shivamogga's Sagar taluk on Wednesday night. He was 81 years old. He is survived by his wife, a son and four daughters. People from various parts of the country used to visit him to get medicine for all diseases especially cancer. He was a ray of hope for many cancer patients. It is said that many cancer patients had recovered after taking medicines from him. Even foreigners visited his house to know more about the medicine. Murthy used to give different types of powders made up of medicinal plants to cancer patients without even examining them. 1st Dec 2017:Friday —-My father and myself went from Yeswantpur (ypr) to anf (anandapuram) train (narsipuram after shimoga) for getting ayurvedic medicine for my sister who was diagnosed with breast cancer 3rd stage early stages from Ayurvedic doctor narayanamurty. Train name is Talguppa exp (16227) From Bangalore , first shivamogga(shimoga) then shivamogga town and then Ananapuram comes.Ananapuram station is a very small rly station. Dont expect anything there. 2nd Dec 2017 sat : morning 6 am reached anandapuram anf then took auto and went to narispuram. whole day in the line(afternoon started giving medicine). night 9 catch train from anandapuram to ypr- 3rd dec 2017 sun: morning 4 am reached ypr station. He will give medicine on Wednesday (2pm to last person) ,Thursday (full day),Saturday (from 2pm )and Sundays(full day) there was a train from SBC – Bengaluru city Junction to Anandapuram(ANF) in Talguppa express which reached Anadapuram by morning 7:00AM with an hour delay. People started to run from the station to the share autos which would drop us at Narsipura. Be fast to get an auto and get early in the queue The autos take you from the station directly outside guru’s house. They would take Rs 50 for that. Buses are available but you need to take a little walk from railway station to bus station and again from the bus stop to guru’s home.
