The Tarpon Springs Campus of St. Petersburg College is located on Klosterman Road just west of US 19 in Pinellas County, Florida, and is one of nine sites that make up SPC. Spread over 80 acres of rolling terrain, the Tarpon Springs Campus is nationally recognized for excellence in education. St. Pete / Gibbs 6605 Fifth Ave. N., St. Petersburg, FL 33710 SPC's oldest campus opened in 1942 and is a full-service location, offering associate, bachelor's and certificate programs in: Child Development, Dance, Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Music and Natural Sciences. It is also home to the college's Music Center, Planetarium, St. Petersburg Collegiate High School and most of the college's varsity athletic programs. The West St. Petersburg Community Library, a partnership between St. Petersburg College and the City of St. Petersburg, provides users with a wide range of library materials and services in one location. Associate in Arts Degree Programs An Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree, earned in as little as two years, is designed to transfer to a bachelor's degree program and grants you admission as a junior to one of Florida's 10 public universities. With more than 200 university majors, you can create virtually any academic track you need. Associate in Science Degree Programs An Associate in Science (A.S.) degree is intended to prepare students dually for the work force and for transfer to some baccalaureate programs. Those programs are in nursing, business administration, electronic engineering, radiology and hospitality/tourism management. A variety of Associate in Science degree programs and certificate options are available for those pursuing fields not requiring a four-year degree.
