On the Grid : Jaihind Lunch Home

A revived part of town, this used to be Bombay’s industrial centre of large cotton mills which shut down around 20 years ago. Now - you’ll find these mills repurposed with luxury furniture stores, malls, creative and corporate offices juxtaposed against our signature style Bombay traffic, street side stalls and massive warehouses. This area is really where you can visually see the polarity of Bombay. We’re lucky to be based out of the most quiet and eclected part of the area - Shakti Mill Lane. Drop in for a coffee to our studio if you’re around - we love having people over :) Jaihind Lunch Home serves the most mouthwatering, fresh and affordable seafood. They are known for their seafood with their special Goan, Mangalorean, Malabari and North Indian flavors. The place is located on the main road (easy to access) and with their comfortable and inviting seating and their fast service will definitely make this on your all time favourite!

Hill Road (Since 2003)

In 2007, Jai Hind Lunch Home arrived at one of the most happening addresses in the city: Hill Road, Bandra. Armed with our rare masalas and a stable, repeat, happy customer base, we ventured into our new addition with great gusto. The love we received from our Pali Naka restaurant awed us, inspiring us to give more to Bandra. Our authentic cuisine was an instant success with the parched seafood lovers of the region. Our original authentic masalas and raw aroma brought the same old flavours to the new place. We soon became the talk of the town with even the best of Bollywood frequenting our place. They call us one of the best seafood restaurants in Mumbai. Must try: Chicken/Prawns Ghee Roast with Appam, Stuff Bombill, Agri Prawns, Lapeta Kebab, Stuffed Crab, Javla Koshimbir Jai hind is a cosy and full of amazing ‘seafood’ restaurant. Always brimming with happy faces and hungry souls. We have a sleek decor that coordinates well with the concept we strongly believe in and that is ‘seafood is love’ and you’ll surely experience and feel this aura in all our outlets across mumbai.

Lower Parel (Since 2001)

When Bombay became Mumbai, the mill workers were slowly replaced by white-collar employees. Mill lands gave way to air-conditioned corporate buildings. At about the same time, we relaunched Jai Hind Lunch Home near Kamala Mills as a fully air-conditioned, fine dining restaurant specialising in delicious Malvan and Mangalorean seafood cuisine. Our quest for great spices led us to introduce various authentic curries such as Sagoti, Hirva Masala, Adajina, Meen Gassi, Pulmunchi and Ambotic. Must try: Patra Nu Macchi, Prawn Hirwa Masala, Prawns Kurkure, Prawns Malabari
