2 Minute Speech On Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav In English Greetings and very good morning to everyone present. Today on this auspicious day I am going to speak about what is ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ about. The Government of India launched the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to celebrate and remember 75 years of progressive independence for India.



The name Vanamahotsava (the festival of trees) originated in July 1947 after a successful tree-planting drive was undertaken in Delhi, in which national leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru, Dr Rajendra Prasad and Abdul Kalam Azad participated. The week was simultaneously celebrated in a number of states.



What is Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav? The Government of India has launched the initiative Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to remember and celebrate progressive India’s 75th year of Independence, as well as the wonderful history of its people, culture, and achievements



In response to the increasing number of coronavirus cases worldwide and the measures being taken by the Government of India, several important precautions are advised for all visitors to the Pramukh Swami Maharaj Shatabdi Mahotsav. The following guidelines issued by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha will take effect from Monday, 26 December 2022.



The grand celebration for Pramukh Swami Maharaj Shatabdi Mahotsav is being held in Ahmedabad between 15 December 2022 to 15 January 2023. It will see a large number of followers and people descending to the town for the pious occasion.
