The first match of the WPL 2023 will be played between Team Mumbai and Team Ahmedabad on March 4. While the team topping the table has moved straight through to the final, teams finishing second and third will play each other in the eliminator for a place in the summit clash. Here's all you need to know about the WPL 2023 playoffs- • The WPL 2023 playoffs are set to begin in Navi Mumbai on Friday, March 24 • Only three teams are remaining out of the five original sides in the inaugural WPL • While the team topping the table has moved straight through to the final, teams finishing second and third will play each other in the eliminator Mumbai Indians were the form team having won all five of their starting games, however, in the last three matches the Women in Blue haven't been at their best. They lost to the Warriorz and the Capitals and lost six wickets in the chase of 126 against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. The Mumbai team is still a much better team than it has performed in the last few games and will be eager to turn it around in the eliminator. The Warriorz, on the other hand, have been heavily dependent on their Australian trio of captain Alyssa Healy, Tahlia McGrath and Grace Harris but if all three have a great day in the eliminator, who knows, it could be the clash of two Aussies in the final with Meg Lanning's Delhi Capitals already in the summit clash.
